7232- is this a good deal?

I have a chance to pick up a 2004 7232 hydro with FEL & BH-with roughly 50 hrs. on it- the place wants $20,000-Is this a good price -I was thinking of around $17- any thoughts-thanks-

Are you sure it is a 7232? That is only a 2 wheel drive and haven't made them for a few years. They do have a 7532, 30HP HST model, new is $14,899 w/no FEL or backhoe. I would think if that is the tractor add about $8000 for a FEL and Back hoe. At $20K it doesn't sound like they are giving you much of a deal. Does a factory warranty come with that?

I am sorry it is a 7532!!!- they say I will get the balance of the factory warranty- i thought $17 was fair but they will not budge at $20 - I think I will pass- thanks,gary

BeBop I have a Cub and it has been an excellent tractor so I wouldn't discourage buying a Cub but there are a lot of good brands out there. Kioti seems to be very good and the Mahindra line is doing quite well. The smaller Mahindras are actually the same as the older Cubs with the Mitsubishi engine/drivetrain. You'll find many dealers will sell on line an ship it to you. Do some of your research as to what you want and the best tractor for you will probably be the one that fits your pocketbook and your needs no matter what color it is.
