I'm now questioning on how to attach the loader to the tractor? I read the past mails but my specific question is, the front posts by the bumper obviously makes 1st contact since it's in front & then does it slide along the underside of the stand-arms, thus rolling the loader over the top of the front posts until the the lower rear mounting points line up on the back attachment posts down under your feet/mower deck area???

I read where people push the loader all over the place trying to hook it up so are they talking about trying to get the front posts into the front hooks? I would think once the lower rear posts are attached, there's no need to push anything anywhere. I thought I read you keep the tractor in neutral & let the loader push it while your attaching it. Sorry for the dumb question.

If & when I ever get this thing working, I'm going to post all the modifications etc that were needed to get this 7308 loader but w/an attachment kit for the economy 1620 style of tractor, to work w/ the TC29 style of tractor w/o any instructions. What a pain.

I figured it out, I got it attached. I didn't realized the front post slid along the underneath of the stand. Thanks anyway.

first time i've seen your post, but yeah, sometimes i end up pushing the loader around before getting it to start sliding on the "posts".

maybe if you are dropping the loader off in the same spot everytime sinking a post or 2 to bump the bucket up against would help. haven't tried it, but i probably will next time. or just unload it up against a fence post somewhere. might chew the post up a bit though.

Since I don't have instructions, I didn't know the right or wrong way to attach it but I had the bucket folded all the way down in the dirt so it didn't slide anywhere, but now looking back, I can see how it would slide if you had it flat on the ground & not digging in.
