I have somehow misplaced my 7308 Loader manual. My question is... Towards the front of the loader, where the hooks sit on the loader bracket that is mounted on the tractor, there are 2 bolts (per side) that you can loosen to adjust how tight the hooks are (or how much clearance there is between the hook and the loader mount). It is hard to explain, but those with 7308 loaders will probably understand. Anyways, how much clearance should be between the bottom of the loader hooks and those brackets? Thanks!

I had to get my manual to check; I just slid them towards the rear of the tractor til they stopped and kept them snug. I will quote from the manual that I have. " The front hooks are adjustable. After the loader rear hinge clamps are secured, slide the hooks rearward into the slotted holes until the hooks contact the front mount tubes". on both sides of the tractor. Torque the 3/4" hardware on the hooks to 270-324ft.lbs.
Hope this helps.
