We do volunteer work every week. If I had a dollar for each time someone suggested "just ask the boy scouts" I'd have more than enough $$ to buy the machine to get the same job done. They are not out there doing 20 hours a week of volunteering. I did chat with our local scout master, which was again, a waste of time.
That's a shame. But we honestly weren't doing anywhere near 20 hours per week either, though. "Many hands make light work," or however it goes. Put 20 kids on a truckload of groceries, and once they're trained on what goes where, it could be a 10-15 minute job at the end of the weekly Scouts meeting.

We did stuff like that, more putting away chairs after events, cleaning up the gymnasium, etc.

Actually, a standard 4WD is 2WD in the rear, plus the additional 2WD in the front.
Not correct. An open differential (front or rear) will only power one wheel and it's usually the wheel with the most traction, not the least. How a differential operates. Limited slip uses a clutch pack to drive the opposite wheel. In my case I have a Detroit Tru-Trak out back and an ARB in the front so the back is a locker and the front is selectable, one wheel (open) or both (air locked). On demand, I can have 4 wheels driving but has to be a straight line (just like a tractor with lockers). Turns cause appreciable strain on all the components as well as extreme tire wear.

I’m 100% correct. A 4WD has the exact same open diff rear end as a 2WD truck. The 4WD has the advantage of an additional open diff 2WD on the front. As I previously stated.

You’re totally wrong saying an open diff only powers one wheel. You obviously either haven’t worked on them, or simply don’t understand the working principle.

Open diffs are equal torque devices. Both wheels receive the same drive torque. This is why when one wheel is on dry pavement and the other on a patch of ice, the vehicle only has the rotational torque no greater than 2x the tire on ice.
When needed torque is less than available traction, like normal straight ahead driving in dry roads, both tires are equally powering the motion.

Posi, and other axle locks are unequal torque devices, which can provide greater torque to a single tire with more traction.

We have a few trucks..all for different tasks. Have a F450 V10 that tows a minimum of once a week. Another F450 diesel that tows a heavy 5th wheel a few times a year.. and one long trip down and back to Fla..And a couple 1/2 tons that are grocery getters… One is actually the daily driver work truck that has 500 pounds in the bed every day..

Not quite true. The TrueTrac is a limited slip (helical type).

Also, there's not necessarily a need to go only straight. With a selectable locker in the front, which is basically a spool when engaged, it's just harder to steer, and your rear TrueTrac is especially good for turning with, much more so than clutch types.

I have vehicles with Detroit Lockers front and rear, including in one with manual steering, and because of how they function there's no problem turning. Well, unless stepping on it at the same time.

You’re right. I should know better by now
It’s understandable.
You see an ignorant, uniformed statement and you want to corrects it, then you realize it’s coming from the last 4 digits of the social security number guy, and you just have to walk away.

Ignore is your friend. (y)

It really depends on what I have going on. I've towed my trailer 3 times this year.

I haul stuff that we won't put in my wife's car. It might fit, but it's not going in there period

Some things, we could haul with the car, but much easier with the truck.

Off road, once this year when I brush hogged my sister in laws place.

I was off road pretty much every weekend last year until we got the driveway put in on our property.
