$750 for a straight, running with good tires 8N

My neighbor was excited telling me about his father found a nice running 8N for $750 and offered it to him for the same price. I have not seen it yet but our friend that has a critical eye to me it was nice for the age and not beat up but missing things like head lights. With a 4' bushhog and finish mower he will be set since he mows a lot.

Sounds like small old iron demand is off at least locally. I am excited for him since I mowed his place that is closer to my house than his home.

I'm with Soundguy, I'd be all over that and I have absolutely no use for an 8N. Great price.

Same here and I have no need for it actually but if I did have one I would keep it looked to one of our many trailers or get a 4' bush hog to get under trees and other hobby usage. Might even loan it for a hay ride.

My friend is doing OK at this time but has MS and now that he can keep up his place better it will make him more happy. I was so glad his dad ran up on the deal. In fact my friend flipped of the offer until he saw the tractor because he 'assumed' it was a pile of junk for $750 but said yes fast when he saw it.

I think this may be the site where he found it listed under tractors but did not see any sweet deals listed today or it could have been on craigslist. The guy was wanting a larger tractor and was an eager seller I guess.

I got to see the tractor yesterday and hear it run. It was very very nice for that price. Now that he has a tractor and 4' cutter he can take care of his place but it only took be a short while to do it for him but he is excited to have his one tractor and bushhog. It is still 6v with a new like battery even. His dad will buy or sell anything and he just ran up on the deal locally. I am guessing that was all some dealer was going to give net.

He dad decided to divide up the equipment with the kids instead of when he passes (he is healthy as far as I know but is retired) so my friend got the small low hour Kubota back hoe.

Don't wanna jinx myself, but I think I'll have all my junk worn out by the time I go..... Might be on another round of stuff by then.... Who knows. But good idea and your friend sure lucked out!!!
