The scoop was purchased @ TSC for $260. Here's my 125 pounds of front weight.

I have 30 acres and us the B7500 to run a brush hog, move sand into loafing shed, spread gravel on a 175 yard drive and pull a blade to remove snow in the winter. I've hauled tons of fieldstone for a new fireplace. I welded up some slip on bucket forks (paint is wore off them already,) and can cut down a 12 inch tree and load it on a trailer in a few minutes without a sweat. Then pick the trailer up from it's jack with the 3 point reciever hitch.

Welded up a boom for the 3 point and use it to pickup things and skid trees out to a place I can easily work at. Use the FEL to haul horse manure out of the pasture. Just used the landscape rake to groom the pasture. Use the brush hog in the pasture for any weed areas that want to start taking over.

Easily, pulled the pickup truck out of the mud (mostly non-stop rain for most of April,) when it got stuck parking a trailer in the front field. I've pretty much changed the whole look of my place with the little Kubota. At first I thought I needed a bigger machine, but after using it I was wrong. The upside to a smaller machine is the attachments are a bit lighter, making it easier to mount them and the impact on the ground is lighter. It doesn't seem to use much fuel, and it starts easy.

You didn't mention what you want to use your tractor for. I have a B7300, which is almost the B7500 (no power steering /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif and a couple less HP). I'm on 10 acres and would have probably been better off with a larger tractor. But I'm really happy with it - I don't know what I'd do without it.

I use mine for brush hogging about 6 acres of pasture, knocking down and dragging dead trees, backhoe work, and of course, taking the trash can up and down the driveway. I maintain the drives with it, too.

Get an FEL - it is really handy, and you'll be surprised how much you use it. Float control would be nice. The B7500 has power steering, so that gets rid of one of the few complaints I have about mine. Airflow is bad - the darn screens clog up in no time when you have fuzzy stuff floating around and then the tractor will overheat. Another issue with these tractors is that they don't have a real alternator - they use a low power dynamo which limits the electrical accessories (lights) that you can add.

But they are great machines and you should be pretty happy with either choice. I'm of the "get the bigger one" school, but if you need to get your tractor into small places the smaller one might be the better choice.
