My opinion: Sounds like a small area you will be mowing. For that I'd say the BX with the hydro, or a 7500hst. The DT is fine mowing an area that is wide open but if you are going around many obstacles and turning in small areas you will want Hydro! I have a 7500DT and love it. But when I mow the parts of my yard close to the house and landscaping I just leave that for my little Murray 17.5hp hydro (about $999).
