I'm close to buying a 7510 with loader,bb,loaded tires r4. My concern is it's ability to snowblow my 400ft gravel driveway. I already own a 60 inch rear mount snowblower. I'm not going to be in a terrible hurry doing it but need the tractor to be able to do it. Also does anybody have any experience with hauling some small hardwoods out with this model (8-10 inch birch) 1 or 2 at a time is fine with me.

I have a B2410 with a 60" blower. Mine has a couple more horsepower than yours, but judging from the ease mine handles the size, I would think you'd have no problems. The only time I have any issue is when we get a huge load of heavy snow, and I let myself get plowed in. In that case, I would take smaller bites and it just takes a little longer. Worst case scenario would be you might have to either raise it up a little for the first pass or use the FEL for the first pass, then you'd be all set.

thanks for the response guys...have you had any experience hauling tree length with the B7510 (1 or 2 w-birch uphill)

As far as hauling logs, I have hauled some pine logs the size you describe, maybe 12-14' long. It's hard to assure you it will do it because it would somewhat depend on the terrain, tire choice, loaded tires or not, etc. I can't imagine you wouldn't be successful, but it's a little hard to say.

You shouldn't have any problem at all pulling trees that size, especially if you can get the near end up off the ground so it's not digging in while pulling. I just went out and measured the log I pulled from the brush at my place last week using a 7510 HST: downed pine tree, 19' long, 12" in diameter at the thick end. No problem at all with that log, it may as well not have been there for all I could tell from the seat.

I went back and forth with the same question and in the end I didn't think it was worth upgrading to the 7610. The 7610 with the 352 loader was $1,000 more than the 7510 which paid for a Bush Hog. I figured the chances of running into something that the 7610 could do, but the 7510 couldn't was pretty slim and so decided on the 7510. Of course after making that decision I ended up going back and forth between the 7510 and 7800. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
