When engaged in MFWD I get a rotational roaring definitely not as smooth as it once was. In 2wd it痴 quiet and operates fine.

I have the technical manual and have reviewed how MFWD is engaged. I dont think the problem is in the front diff as the front diff rotates all the time while in 2wd. Therefore I feel the problem is either in the shaft or the input shaft/collar within the transaxle. I don稚 think it could be any deeper within the trans axle as again it痴 operating 100% of the time in 2wd.

I have a lot of work to do in the next month and I don稚 need the MFWD am I safe to operate without fixing it or will I make the problem worse?

Thoughts? Am I on the right track?
