Has anyone replaced the dipper hose on a 758C backhoe? After trying to look at it, I am wondering if the dipper arm needs to be disconnected from the boom to gain access. Any advice would be greatly appreciated since the nearest NH dealer is 2+ hours away. Thanks, Bill C

I replaced the lower hose on our 758C. Just ran the hose external from where it connects on the back. Had it made at a local hose shop. no problems yet. Rick

Rick, did you just run the hose on the outside of the boom? If so, did you secure the hose with anything? Thanks, Bill C

Talked with the local independent shop (who also sells Kioti) and he thinks there is a clamp holding the hoses inside the boom. He also mentioned that there also might be a need to disconnect the boom cylinder to route the hose underneath. I will wait until the weather warms up a little before attempting to remove it. The good news is that they can make the hose.

I had one replaced. Just disconnect at both ends, connect new hose to the old one and pull through, after releasing any clamps eh.

Did it wear through where it enters the boom? Mine was a few years ago but as I recall there is a flat plate that holds the hoses in place that rubbed on them. Can't recall details but I have a Weatherhead and had it up and running again in an hour or so it was no biggy. I think I left the plate off too.

Tom, I can't definitely tell where it is leaking but it didn't appear to be at the bottom. If it has to come apart it is going to have to wait for warmer weather. Bill

I hope it is that easy but after trying to look down the inside of the boom it appears there is a clamp bolted on the inside. Bill
