I am about to buy such a light, 100 watt, for street lightening and I found out that the prices are around 1-1.5 USD per watt. So, you paid 70-80 USD for your about 50 watt led? Or, more? to sponsor America (whoever they are - nba? ok, just joking.)

You're question is to someone else but I thought I would pipe in on the thought...I installed two street lights on my drive a few years back and recently replaced the fixture and bulb with a high efficiency bulb that uses much less amps with similar watt output. I found it to be worth the small investment to gain the usage efficency.

Wattage and amperage are directly related if voltage stays the same. These are input values not output. Light output is measure in lumens and you get many more lumens per watt with LEDs than an incandescent. Great for us who have tractors with small alternators.

Nice lights. I would knock them off in the woods and would have them better protected for what they cost.

Nice looking lights but they need to come down to under $100 a set before I'll be upgrading. At $25 a piece I'm not going to be crying when a tree limb takes out one of my 55w Hobbs Halogen lights.

Great lights. I graduated from the Acadamy of more is better and bigger is great. Love those lights. On the Gator I got my wife for Mothers Day, I had every light JD had for the unit put on. I can blind deer on my 50 acre field from front to back. If I could strap on more I would but dont think the alternator would hold up.
