Does anyone know for sure if there is an air bleed proceedure when changing the fuel filters on a 8.2 Detroit diesel? I can't find reference to this in my truck service manual, all it says is to 'follow engine mfg specs" In any diesel engine I've ever had air needed to be bled, but maybe these are different. Someone told me to just pre-fill each filter first, but I'm not so sure if thats correct.
