Before you take an axe to your banjo, what is the make and model.

Mine always sounds better in someone elses hands, but I try to tell myself a Banjo sounds better when you sit in front of it, not behind.

great, thanks! love banjos - too thick to learn myself. I actually tried, but after few years traded banjo for .357 - figured I will likely shoot better than I play

But I miss it!
