I am turned around most of the time. If going a long stretch you may just look forward but only once you know exactly where you are not in a single opening driveway. 80" of snow turns into about 30 inches in less than a week. It gets pretty dense.Sort of wanted to see what 80"s of Snow at once was like, maybe the Metric System is still messing with my head but I see 12-14" (maybe) on the ground plus Banks.
The verdict is still out, if a Forward or Backward Blower for me, it seems you are still turned around most of the time with that much snow
How would you find the road….. i dont see markersWe are cold enough here that the Snow doesn't really melt until March, but accumulations aren't like the old days. I have 1 year recorded at the Cabin of 147"s overall and total of 5' on the ground. Lake travel was almost 0, even Snowmobiles were having troubles.
This is about the Limit of Lake Travel and that is with 2' on the ground. Snowblower would be so helpful in eliminating the Bank and less Drifting.
A 1" Drifting would plug this road full
