BX1500 54 mmm I have read and experienced that a ratio of 5/8 gallon of diesel to 1 gallon of gas. Some have reported 1/2 gallon of diesel to 1 gallon of gas. this is working a tractor or mower under load such as Brush cutting with a rotary mower.

Parts for the diesels are available aftermarket and are cheaper too. I'd be looking at a diesel. Kim
