84-85, 12.5hp, 1325(?) cadet won\'t move forward
Ok..... so I buy this cub cadet, seems to be a nice tractor... drive it around the guys yard, try mowing in reverse and all seems to be well. The dude offers to deliver it and I take him up on it, he unloads it and leaves. I go to drive it out into the yard and it won't move forward. It will go in reverse, but not forward in any gear. And the drive pulley and belt are spinning even in neutral. I jack the rear end up, put it in gear and the wheels move, but you can stop them with your finger or foot. Any ideas would be appreciated.
The dude is supposed to come take a look at it today after work and I told him if he can't get it moving forward and show me why it's not moving then he needs to give me the $$ back.
