The Sherman won't help much hogging, as it slows pto and groundspeed.

Well things came up getting ready to start on tractor again. To pull cover and see what's going on there and change parts out on fuel tank after making sure no rust in tank all the ports on bottom of the 841 tank was welded and leaking no wonder I couldn't stop fittings from leaking

Well checked all the fittings on return line there was some interesting looking braising on tubing used a large syringe and rubber tubing to put pressure on it after making sure everything was dry used drop light held pressure for 30 min no leaks visible didn't loose any in syringe. Have to check book on checking pump sense have to reprime filter every time good chance its under pump don't think my book shows brake down of pump if put a shut off between filter and pump till find brake down would take me a while to save for kit unless can just get whatever seals if like boots around injectors had to much red sealer around it

Kind of hard to read your post, however if you are talking about rebuilding the roosa master pump, I take to a diesel shop

Sorry about it not having brakes in it. Can't help it its the way its in my head makes things tough. Would take to shop funding prevents it . It runs fine haven't. Used it enough to tell if leaks into pan while running thought maybe a seal around pump shaft. Sense have to reprime filter if if sets over night fuel empties into pan . Unless injector isn't seating and siphoning. don't have tool to check it . Sense runs ok think I'll add some extra shut off valves. Question the fitting at front of tank has two line coming from it. One is the excess fuel return from injectors ( tall thin line) the short one comes out side of fitting a goes to injection pump . Isn't filtered is it a return to tank also ??

Yes.

Ps, if the machine runs well, I would not expect a stuck open injector.

That's the way I was thinking. Don't have parts break down to see what seals are under injection pump think that's might be how it getting into pan . If I add shut off valve between filter and pump and between lines at front of tank should stop that problem till can repair

I haven't checked, but the new Holland parts site likely has the roosamaster pump breakdown.
