I was able to use my JD855 over the weekend, cleaning up the mess some
heavy equipment made.
While I was out enjoying this excuse to use the tractor,
I noticed one of my rear R1's had lost a substantial amount of air.
I was worried I some how punctured it. However after filling it back up it held air just fine.
Since it wasn't punctured I'm wondering if I have had too little air in my rears?
I usually have 10-12 pounds in the rear tires, summer and winter.
I lost the bead on the opposite side several years back on a cold winter day.
(9 degrees and ice built up in the bead area)
I have now up'd the pressure to 17psi in both rears, hoping this will keep the bead sealed.
Does any one know what tire pressure I should be running on this machine?
I'm wondering if I have been running too low of pressure?
Thanks,
