It was a steamy 86°F yesterday here in Southern Michigan, but tonight's low is projected at 38°. Seems fall has finally arrived - what a long and beautiful summer!

A beautiful clear and crisp 55° this morning as I walked into work just now.

How was the summer in your area? Is it fall yet?

Summer was brutal here in MO, 90-100 almost ever darn day. It's 61 this morning and comfortable in shorts but still a bit warm for a t shirt with sleeves still attached. I'm SO ready for fall.....
Highs in the 90's last few days. We had 2 decent days last week in the 80's and went ahead and bagged the first deer of the season on opening day of archery season.

Typical summer here although a bit wetter than normal.
But this Sept. has been like the ones of years ago. Dry, sunny, low humidity and cooler temps.

We were going into moderate drought territory up here in Michigan after receiving under 0.5" of rain from mid august to mid sept. But we finally just got a few rounds of heavy rain and thunderstorms over the last week to replenish the soil. The trees must be relieved.

Fall has Fell and the birch trees are bare. 1-1/4" of rain yesterday and it's 34 degrees this morning with rain and snow in the forecast. No where near ready for Winter.

We are in our own little spot here. But we get below freezing every morning now. And will pretty much until next summer now. So fall is here leaves are changing, but getting rain and snow so that will slow it down some. But 50 degrees change in temps is a daily occurrence here. But we are 20’s to 70’s usually. It didn’t get 90 or above here this summer. -40* F is just around the corner, that is what keeps the people away… thank god.

Still one more day of summer here in SE TN for us today. That same cold front is coming through tonight! WOOOHOOOO! SO READY! Extended forecast is mid 70 highs and mid 50 lows for the next week or so (1 or 2 days in mid 80s, but I'm ok with that).

Summer was not too bad here. End of July, early August was wet and unseasonably cool.

The nighttime lows have dropped some but that’s about the only sign of fall so far. The leafs haven’t really started yet and the grass is still growing.

-40* F is just around the corner, that is what keeps the people away… thank god.

Yeah... most people don't like -40F all that much. Not that -40C is much better (ha).

Only experienced it once myself up in Sault Ste Marie, CN. The motel's outdoor hot tub got dangerously cold quickly after we took the cover off. Somehow my mom's Jeep Cherokee started right up, but it could barely get any heat out the vents. I got moderate frostbite on one foot after a day of snowboarding at Searchmont. Good times. Coldest I've ever seen downstate is -18F or so... but it only comes around here when there is zero breeze, so it's hard to even feel how truly cold it is.

Same here....a nice cool morning...perfect. The rains came too late for the farmers but we really needed the water. The grass is taking off so we're mowing more. Maybe the cooler weather will slow it up now.
