Some folks are simply ignorant, believing whatever they were told when they acquired something. Others are, well...
As I usually do, I have emailed the seller advising him of the correct years of possible manufacture. We'll see if he changes it. What I usually tell callers who say something like this "I'm looking at a xxx model somewhere else and I want you to tell me all about it so I can then buy it from this ignorant seller who can't give me any information" (ok, I AM paraphrasing a bit, but literally this happens almost daily) is this-- "why on earth would you buy a tractor from someone who you already know DOESN'T know squat about it?" I seldom get what I would consider a good answer.
Anyway....I'll be happy to post the seller's reply, if there is one.

So, is he going to change the listing?
Also, this is a grey, isn't it? I'll be surprised if it stays up thru the time period of the auction, given Yanmar's heavy handed response to others who have tried to sell their greys thru Ebay.........
