wireing lamps off key leads to key failure.

Never thought of that. But liked the convince of not having to worry about leaving the lights on accidentally causing the battery to be dead. Easy enough to change though. But in all honesty, the lights are almost never used. It certainly isnt a tractor used for farming anything. Just used to maintain a garden, do some grading in the yard, moving some snow in the winter, and hauling firewood trailers around. So If I had to guess, maybe 2 hours a year the lights are used. But with his grandkids running around and liking to "play" tractor, this way they cannot turn the lights on and leave them when no one is looking.

Engine overheating!!
Use compressed air and blow out the radiator fins.
Hot engine will cause the fuel to vaporlock.

I've been hesitant to call it fixed, but I ran it this afternoon for half an hour or so with no issues. Would like to have run it longer but when its 30, muddy, and a dusting of snow, there is only so much you can do. Thanks to all who helped solve this issue.
