These can often be replaced with the resistor from a Dodge if you cannot find one for the 8N.
I wouldn't. ford used that resistor and coil combo as a matched set. the resistor is temp sensitive and it's ohm value changes as it heats up..
The A8NN12250 A/B is readilly available online, at a cnh dealer, at tractor supply or thru a tisco dealer.
