hate to tell you this.. but you may have wasted money buying the hyd tap for the top cover under the seat. yer onboard hyds make plenty of pressure.. but flow will be anemic.. meaning slow.

i have a woods 6500 hoe on an 850 ( i made a partial subframe ), and I run it with a pto pump.. i can run at idle that way.. and have plenty of speed.

How slow are we talking I dont need big speed but not snail speed I can still return the block still in box just concerned about price of pto setup

that onboard pump is likely a bit less than 7gpm or so.. and that imho will be dismal on a hoe.. AND yer engine will be screamin to get full pump output.

then again.. how big is the hoe? is it teeny? if the cyls are small displacement.. may work

ok.. what does it's manual say that it wants to be fed with?

if it's about 6gpm .. then with engine at full gov'd rpm.. you can do it.

if it is happy with 4gpm.. you can do it about 2/3 throttle.

if it wants 8-10.. bring a book

I don't have the specs yet but the guy who has it says2-3 it is a woods model BH70-X and I am having a hard time finding info I am only picking it up on Monday so just trying to plan ahead

according to the manual your operating flow range is 4-6 gpm

I'd say you can do it.

If it will run ok at 4 that will let you keep the rpms down from 'scream' to just 'loud'

:)

yep. welder and torch make most things fit. ;)

that's the old joke on some of the antique tractor forums. someone will come on and ask somehing like.. will the loader on my oliver 550 mount onto my ford 860

we say.. 'you got a welder and torch?'
