Just watching the footage again almost 6 months later one still sets in silents..very well done by CBS!!

The footage from inside was especially heartbreaking. The look one those peoples faces was something that I hope never to see in person.

While documentaries and news reports keep 9/11 fresh in our minds so we never forget why we're fighting, my prayers and concerns are for the families of those who perished. A big part of the healing process after the death of a loved one is simply the passage of time. While you never forget, the edge comes off the sadness, the pain is not so acute. It usually takes a year after the death for this to happen, you must go through all the holidays, birthdays, anniversaries without your loved one. With constant reminders in the media about 9/11, the survivors are not allowed to heal. There are no easy answers.

It was an awesome show! It really makes people who had no direct involvement feel what it was like for the public safety professionals that were there. It truly amazes me that there are so many people who are willing to run INTO danger while the rest of the world is running away from it! Thank God for people like that.

We have heard all about it, but alas, not on our TV yet. Saw clips from it on our current affairs show last night. Very scary stuff from inside the second tower when the first fell.
