9 inch bucket for BX-24

Mine is the same as LBROWNS.I chose the narrow one because i have real rocky ground. Its my opinion they get around and under the rocks and roots better.
*That being said if i had smaller rocks and less stumps etc id have the largest one for faster soil removal.

A 16'' would be nice for digging footers.

That was mine on ebay.
One thing I would have like to seen with the 9" bucket if they would have made it a little deeper.

The 9 inch bucket is a problem when digging in sticky clay. I have sometimes had to use a spade to get that c**p out.

I have the 12 inch and i can attest to using the shovel to get the clay to come out. I was diggin out the footers for my expanded garage 40 inches down and half way down i ran into water and clay. It was a messy goop plugging up the bucket. Sometimes shaking the boom/bucket would dislodge it but a major portion would still be in the bucket wasting the amount I could pick up with the next scoop. going smaller would only aggravate me.
