Anybody have any thoughts on a 2011 925 with 600 hours on it powered by a 27hp Kawasaki engine without the MOD deck for 5K?

Good price!
Does it have EFI, or is it the carburetor? The EFI is supposed to get better fuel economy.
I have the 920 version...really like it. Mows great and it fast.

It is a carb version. I hear the carb versions run through about 1.5 gallons an hour.

Strike that, it is EFI.

I'm looking into suspension seats. Seems to me somebody posting here on TBN sold Grammer suspension seats through eBay but I cannot find any listings.

After demoing different machines for a year, I decided to get a Ferris is2100 while off-season deals can be made.

Tomorrow I winterize it and throw it into storage for the winter.

Sweet machine! Yeah now is the time to buy zero turns, or any lawn equipment for that matter. I picked up a mulching kit for my 915b for about $50 cheaper than it would be at peak mowing season. Still expensive at $303 though. Did you get a mulching kit on yours?

I did not get the mulching kit. I'm not certain if I should get it because I'm going to be mowing thin lawn grass and thick field grass. I thought I'd try it without and see if the stock set up is good enough.

I did get three extra blades thrown into the deal and the blades too to be high lift to my eye which makes for epic dust clouds. The dealer claims there is only one type of blade for these mowers.

After-the-fact, I decided I am going to get the light kit and I'm wondering thinking about suspension seats for it. The seat pan flips up, is totally flat, and the operator switch isn't in the seat at all so adding any seat looks like child's play.

An added bonus that I didn't expect to find on the is2100z was to find ZT5400 drive motors.

Congrat's on the Ferris, how does it ride with the suspension system? I have a 920M that i really like, it dosen't use anymore gas than my GT did on account of it cutting my mowing time in half & there's no comparison in the finished cut, i love it.
I don't own a "football field" yard, the suspension seat is on the list, i asked about the spring kit, part's person said it wasn't available:confused3:
I did find some mower seat springs & added them, it helps, not enough though.
BTW, first time ever, had to mow the grass this past weekend, we've had a very mild fall.

Ronnie, thanks! I only know how the new Ferris rides in a parking lot, of all things, as I demoed it in the rain. It has been raining for three days now, and yesterday in the rain, with 0.0 hours still reading on the hour meter, I dropped the throttle cable bracket to get enough room to swing a 1/2" wrench to pull the fuel solenoid and drain the float bowl. Then I pulled the battery out and closed the door for winter on the boat barn and said see you in April, new Ferris is2100z mower.

I too am thinking about air seats and started a thread hoping to learn a little more.

I guess you have an extra seat til spring. If several of us wind up in a barn, we normally locate a piece of equipment to sit on instead of chairs.
