93\' LK3054

Looking for a 30 hp compact tractor with a FEL that will eventually have a BH on it. A fella that lives close to me has a 93’ Kioti LK 3054 with FEL with 234 hrs on it. He’s asking $12,000. If I offered $ 10,000 would that be a good deal? This is my first time in the market and would appreciate any advice.

It's not all that bad a deal now. Have you priced an equal new one?

Of course, there's no warranty on the used one.

I bought a 1995 model last fall with 500 hrs, a GB front loader and 5ft KK finish mower for $7500. Now I knew it had some problems, as it turned out more than I thought, I finally just rebuilt the engine. One thing I will say is parts are very inexpensive. I got the parts from Jon Depratt but I am sure the other dealers here are good also. The thing I would advise is check the compression. These older units only had single filter systems. Mine had sucked enough dirt in that 500 hrs that it had ringed the backed cylinder well beyond specs and the middle one was bad also. Even in that condition it still ran well but was very hard to start. My whole rebuild with shop labor, engine parts, several body parts and manuals will only be around 1800.00. Now if I can just find the time to finish getting everything back together i will be good to go. I am going to convert it to the newer dual air filter system when I get the chance. I think the cost for that mod is around $200.00

I'm selling my 98 CK3054 with FEL. Only 156 hours, this tractor is absolutely beautiful. Original owner passed away and the unit sat for a long time. I picked it up a year ago and redid all the hoses and belts. It's a great tractor. I'm asking $ 10,500.00 in Northwest Indiana.

I just got a chance to look at my post and I see I made a error, that's what happens when you're in a hurry. This LK3054 is a 2003 not a 93". Sorry about that.

OK, now I think it sounds like it might be a deal, I was thinking it was a little high for a 13 year old tractor and even was thinking it was a good reference post for those who quesiton resale value on other than "big 3" tractors.

If it's a 2003 then it's a good deal. The hours are nothing for that engine and if everything checks out it should be fine.
A few thousand more would get you a new one with warranty, but you could also use that money for other implements.
