990 vs 3720

I would seriously look at the load match option of the 20 series tractors. Espically if you are wanting to pull a bailer. Would the 4120 be a better option for you compared to a 990?

There is a video on the JD site showing a 4120 out pulling an L5130 (more HP) with loadmatch turned on.

I think I like the simplicity of the 990. Does anyone know if a foldable ROPS bar is available for the 990? I don't know if it would fit in my garage with the ROPS attached. Most of my land is pretty flat, and I don't think that the tractor would be strained pulling an older 14T square baler, or other small baler. The 4000 twenty series are a large tractor, I think If I was going to jump up to that, I would just get the 5105 tractor.

5105 is very nice.

Do you want 4WD? Loosk like the 4WD and DSCV are options on the 990 as well. Will you use a loader on it?

A folding ROPS is not available. As a result, I built the pole barn partially shown in the picture above. I needed to get the tractor equipment out of the shop anyway.
