Ok someone out there must have made one of these or some company out there must make one.
Here's the problem>
When using the FEL often times what is in the bucket falls out over the top of the bucket if it is full (rocks, snow, ice, etc.) & lands hard on the hood of the tractor damaging it. & possibly even hitting the operator.

Why couldn't you make a quick detach "backstop" if you will on the bucket. 1' to 2' high. Make some sort of frame then weld 2"x2" or smaller grating to it.
Whalah! Now stuff can't fall out over the back side/ top of your bucket.

Good one, after a couple of laps of Florida sand, I'm real careful now. Funny how experience can be the best teacher and I learn well after the sand bath

Why not just roll your bucket as you raise the boom?

I converted my loader to self levelling... no more worries about adjusting the bucket while you lift, and about 30% more lift force on the pallet forks, with the same main lift cylinders...

Yeah similar to those. I want to use 1/2 x1/2" wire screen though so I can still see real good. I want it to be a slide in type set up too. Something easy on easy off.

Why not just level the bucket? I usually do but no one is perfect. One mistake & BAM you just dropped a 10# rock on the hood of your tractor's hood.

Wyld Bill,

Here is what I just finished finished building last weekend. (Backstop & Brushforks) Still need to finish painting (ran out of paint).

The backstop ends are 1" square tube that slide into 1 1/4" square tube that I welded to the back of the bucket. I drilled a hole and used a bolt to hold it on. Its light enough and easy to remove. I originaly designed it to keep firewood from crashing down on the hood. If I need protection from smaller stuff I guess I can attach some chicken fence to it.

Ray that looks great. When you are all done painting it you can drop it off at my house so I can do some testing with it. Thanks in advance.
