A bit off topic - go karts

I know this is a bit off topic, but I thought it fit here the best. I'm looking to purchase a 2 seater go kart and I found www.xxx-motorsports.com on the web. They make really nice looking rides and I was wondering if anyone here had any experience with them.

them things are cool .i really like them minny choppers. man they didn't have things like that when i was a kid.

Looks like a whole lot of cart for the money. I'll bet these are Chinese knock off's. Several questions I have is who makes the engine and where can I buy parts.

Yea, they look Chinese. That is not a bad thing thou. I have a komoto 150 quad for my girl, and it has been a great little bike. When you assemble just use some locktite and watch all the bolts and stuff for awhile. Change the oil in the first 10 hours or so.

Some times you get lucky, it's all about dealer support. My son and I have built a really hopped up Honda XR50 with you name it we have including an 88 cc big bore kit. You can't believe the Chinese knock off's in this segment. Most of this stuff is just plan junk.

As long has the engine is built in America and or is a brand name you can't go wrong. I did a search in Google yesterday on Chinese built go carts/motorcycles and was shocked. You know the hottest thing going are these hopped up little Honda XR50's, we have better and $3500 in one and these knock off's with what looks like the same parts cost under $1500, guys ride them 2-3 hours at a track and are disappointed they fall apart. Ours keeps running and running with very little maintenance. I know this is sick, Ya get what ya pay for.
