Farmall 656, w/fel
Looks like the farm is sold and most of the machinery gone too. I am keeping @8 acer's and for now plan to maintain with our farmall 656. In the near future I plan to replace the 656 with a CUT to brush hog with. I have a Woods BB720 and was looking for some input as to what size CUT I should be steering toward?? any input would be appreciated!

Why get rid of the IH 656? Classic tractor that will certainly do the job for a long time to come.

I am not familiar with a Woods BB720. I assume this is a brush cutter. Width? 3 point?

I dont plan to get rid of it just add something new. I would use the 656 for big jobs and a cut for smaller ones. The 720 is a med. duty 6' cut.

I would say 35 to 40 hp if you want to be able to cut heavy stuff. I run a 6' on a 30 hp for grass only and its ok. If you let it get over a foot tall it will bog it down.
