a couple used wood working tools i picked up

First is a sweet little DELTA JOINTER.Boss bought out another outfit this was there pd 150.Will help when i do finish carpentry work

2nd was a MAKITA PLUNGE ROUTER pd 50 always liked MAKITA tools currently own a nice skil will put MAKITA in my router table

I think you did good with those two tools.

I started out with Makita cordless drills years ago, went over to Dewalt and then back to Makita 18 Volt drills.

I went to buy a used jointer. The guy wanted to show me how it ran, and turned it on. He had forgotten to snug down the cutters. One of them missed my ear by about an inch, and the other one made a real mess out of the table. It was a learning experience.

Some time my job does have perksItryed the jointer finally ,it really works sweet.Makes a ice neat pile of shavings that looks like excellent fire starters.

Nice buy. What HP would the router? I'd like to make some panel doors some time out of old logs from a cabin. It is suggested to use about a 2 to 2.5 hp router in a table to run some of the bits.

I have that same Delta Jointer. It's a work horse and does and excellent job. I paid somewhere around $400 new. I hope you can sleep with yourself at night. You stole it at that price. Looks like it's in excellent condition. A scotchbrite pad will make quick work of cleaning up the jointer bed. Rub a piece of wax paper used for baking on the table after and your lumber will glide across and no rust will form on the bed.

it doesnt say just 1500 watts,1.4 amps

Thanks for the tip .Id like to find an owners manual for it.Im a little confused about the depth of cut part.Itryed to change it ,i loosened the lock put the depth at 1/16 ,but the lock doesnt line up with the hole now???I guess im confused
