I don't know how to make a pic inthe dark to show the lights I put on the shed today, but it really helps. Vickie wanted to have some light showing on the building at nite, so I got the big idea to put a dimmer switch on the lights in the syorage room part . I turned them down pretty low and we checked the first night and it looked just like someon had left the lights on, not at all what she wanted. I went to Lowes this morning and they had a set of 3 solar spotlites. You can mount the photo cell an place the lights up to 20 ft away. I mounter the PV cell on the porch eve and ran the wires along the porch beam and pointed the lights toward the front windows and ran 1 around to shine into the shed. It looks just perfect to her, so I'm a happy man. Later, Nat

Nat,

Thanks for the kind words. I'm honored that you liked my posts enough to use them at your place too. They looked like what I did, but I wasn't sure if you had cedars on your land, or if they were a different type of tree.

I have several cedar piles all over the place for when I need them. I'll burn just about anything, but not them!!! hahaha

Again, you built a REALLY NICE barn there. Thanks for sharing.

Eddie

PS, Tell Vickie we both said hi.

It's a C. but it has the tank riser and radiator off a Super C. I painted it and put a new seat, muffler, decals and rear tires , and a 3PH. It is just an old tractor, but it does most anything I need it to do, just as good as a 15,000.00 CUT. That doesn't mean that I don't want a 15,000.00 CUT, just can't justify one when that old C does everything I need. PLUS---- Vickie thinks it looks good sitting around and matches the rest of the place.
I can prove that I'm a lucky man, last week she saw an old '46' F-2 Ford 3/4 ton truck with a flatbed, and she said that would look good here too. So I'm on the lookout for me an old truck______ with her blessing!!!!!!!!!

I've still got mine although it hasn't ran for 15 years. I've got a plow, sickle mower and a homemade dozer blade for it. I pulled a New Holland square baler but I couldn't pull a wagon behind the baler on my hills. I pulled a 10ft pulltype tandem disc which might have been the death of her.

I think your wife must be a long lost sister to mine. My wife treats me like a King which makes me in turn do everything I can to treat her like a Queen. We are truly blessed and probably not worthy!!!! :)
