Ouch! That 1430 is nice but is way out of my budget! Sounds like it's workable. A trip to Taz is in my plans sometime this summer!

Hey KentT...great shots. That 425 looks great working! Time for a personal question....how tall are you fellas? I'm 6'4" and was wondering if I was going to fit on the 425. Some of your pics look like shins and knees have no extra room. I don't mind tight:D but want to be comfortable to work a few hours at a stretch if needed. Any comments?

I will definitely need to operate a 425 before purchasing but was looking for an operator "fit" assesment.
Anybody else have any thoughts?

I'm 6' tall, 220 and size 13 shoes. I have rather long legs and.... hey, wait a minute! This is starting to sound like a singles' dating service! :D

( I find my 2001 PT425 very comfortable and have operated it non-stop for 5 hours at a shot many times ).

Thanks MR! Yeah, I can only imagine what my wife would think if she stumbled upon this thread! BTW we're pretty close to the same size...so I hope the 425 and I can become...(ahem!)...better acquainted! :D

OK, you can send me a meat slicer and I'll send you some hydraulic hose. :D

Not even sure if Murfreesboro produces General Slicers yet, but had to try!:p

You guys crack me up. Funny how it always seems to come down to size :D

I only have a 180, but the wife loves it, and it gets the job done extremely well.:D

If the 425 is not comfortable consider a tall boy...2425. You sit higher so you have more leg room. I've got bad knees so for me I need to have my leg stretched out and the 2425 allows that to happen. The 425 or the 1430 didn't. I'm 6' but only 3/4 of Moss size :)

Is there a way to modify the seat on the 425 to move it further back or are you into the engine by then? 1850, tons of room for my fat tush... But the seat is hydraulicly leveled and that is very bizarre to get used to...
