I hate going to town & after I get there I hate being there. Plan my stops & needs ahead of going. Then usually skip 1 or 2 stops in order to get out of town sooner.
Sort of have to go at least twice a month. Milk beer & dog food.
It usually takes me about 3 days to talk myself into actually going to town. I do have a good time talking to the people I come across in town or else where. But would be just or even happier talking to the dogs or birds.
There is only a couple of people anywhere close that even want to talk to or associate with. One is a winter visiter so only see him for a few months of the year.
The others that I liked have died & all were younger than I am.
Sort of have a wild life sanctuary here, feed the birds, lots of quail & doves, cactus wrens, cardinals & what I call the Chit birds. Quite a few cotton tails in spite of the dogs. Have 1 grey squirrel & a few chipmunks. Have a good fence so bigger animals can't come in.
