The draining was 1/3 water and 2/3 oil. There was list of built up crud in there also. Sound guy I went back though some of your old post too and added the ATF fluid in there as well. I'm still in disbelief at the results. You guys saved me a lot of money and I'm greatful! As for the steering column I haven't tackled that one yet. I'd like to think I could do it but never been into a steering section before. I know the gromet is weathered cracked and broken where it's leeking under the steering wheel. You would think that would've been replaced under the original repair. But then again I guess I just got took on that repair. Better to learn to do things yourself. I do have a diagram to go by and also it was suggested to not use the steering wheel to pull yourself up on the tractor. So I'm still gathering information on the power steering leek.

the under the steering wheel leak is pretty common and not a miserable fix..

Yea thats a good bit of water, It may not hurt it to do this again in 6mo. sooner if you use it a lot.
But the crud coming out is a good thing.

Soundguy is right. But its a PITA, Go slow so you don't end up like me and having to go back and do it all again. The 3rd time its really easy LOL.
