I'm going to admit that this whole computer/Internet/ecommerce thing is a little new to me.

I'm also going to admit my ignorance of what's going on, but I'm seeing some tractors for sale on this e-bay for ridiculously low prices. I notice that you have to "pre-qualify" and these sellers don't seem to have a location anywhere. I'm thinking that "if it's too good to be true..." but I can't figure out where the hook is. Is this like one of those deals where someone in another country has to "move large amounts of ill gotten money secretly" and offers some dupe a cut in exchange for their help?

Can anyone educate me on this one, please?

The pre-qualification is a way for the "seller" to do an identity theft on your ebay name. There was a thread on TBN here several months ago that covered this.
