In April of 2003 I was thanking Muhammad for granting my request for a seperte forum for Mahindra. Athough I do a lot more watching now than I did then, the board is still the best I have found for Mahindra owners to share their ideas, thoughts, problems, and become friends.
Some of you certainly have more experience than me when it comes to knowing tractors, but I still have to say, as I have before many times, for the price, you get a great tractor, fit, finish, metal, and a great warranty. I purchased one of the first 6000 and did have a few problems, but Mahindra and especially my dealer took care of them and me. As I continue to watch the posts, it appears that there are a number of very good Mahindra dealers.
I still have the 6000 and it is running great. Last summer I built a pole barn, moving earth and gravel as truck after truck delivered the gravel. Some workers were pouring my concrete floor. When I stopped to see how they were doing, they all came over and were amazed at the tractor and what it could do. They now know what a Mahindra is.
It appears that Mahindra is not slowing down. They have more new models in the process and continue to make improvements. It also appears that their warranty claims are down as well.
So, my new message from this old poster is keep up the good work on the forum. It is a pleasure to be a part of such a great group. I would bet that if you put us all in a room and asked what one thing we all had in common, it would take quite a few guesses before someone got the right answer.
