A New Toy From Kubota.

I just bought a Polaris Ranger 4x4. They are pricey but they can certainly go places that no 4x4 on road vehicle can go. My property is wooded and with some steep inclines and I can make my own trail and haven't yet found a place where I can't get to. I am planning on putting up new Posted signs and will load them in the dump bed and just go along the property line. It will save me a lot of leg work. I would take mine anyday over a $8-9000 pickup truck.

We went to the firts wave also. Just barely squeaked into line in time to get to drive. One quick lap aroud just didn't quite satisfy me--guess I just have to wait now /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif. We were the 2 crazy girls who took it thru the speed bumps at full throttle in 2nd gear--it was so much fun that we backed up and did it again! Can't wait till February /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I'm with you Haz. I have a Bombardier Traxter and a F150 4x4. They each have their place but one doesn't replace the other. There is no way I would think of taking the F150 through the bush like I do the Traxter. The hills are too steep and the tress too close together. But I wouldn't be without either.

I bought a 6X4 Gator last month, it kind of like a big toy for the family. So far I have used it to string barbed wire and just yesterday we were loading bucket fulls of dirt into the bed and taking them and dumping them into low spots. The family loves the the thing, I get some work done with it. Some people will buy a boat, Harley, or 2 seater convertible for their "toy". For our toy we got a utility vehicle. We now have a toy that can get some work done. Which ever brand you get, Kub, Polaris, Kaw, or JD, you can get soe use out of them.

I saw the new Gator CX(mini gator) on Saturday at work and they look kind of stupid. Plastic box and turf tires. Really small but they go 15 miles an hour. I guess it would be good for small homeowners who need a small vehicle. Oh it has cupholders too. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

That's exactly what it was made for was homeowners only. It's a cheaper model just for people to go around their little acre or so lots.l JD still has the original Gator line as well. They also have the new 4x4 which i guarantee you wouldn't say looked like it was something for homeowners.

They are a nice toy! Kubota has put a lot of work/engineering into this new product. If you like the Mule or Gator you will like the RTV900 even more...trust me. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Go test drive them all (like I have), then you will see what I'm talking about. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

I hope the 4x4s are good. They better be as relaible as the gators now or people are going to be real mad. I do like how JD is sticking with kawasaki motors.

I was told that they would use Bombardier engines in the new Gators. Was also told that Bombardier was build the ATV's. They look like the Bombardiers. Does anyone know for sure?

Bombardier is building the new 4x4 and ATV's. The Kawasaki engine is still being used in the original Gators.
