The 8N sold for $2700 by itself and they auctioned off the 8N attachments seperately.

I went to bid on a three point saw rig. I told myself it would be a Ford saw rig like in the first picture, so when it turned out to be a PTO rig then I was glad. I monitered some of the sales before they got to the sawrig. Everything seemed to be selling at fair or low prices.

I was thinking hopeful thoughts, but it was an auction and however brought that rig to sale should be very happy with me. I bidded it up to $600 and let some guy buy it for $620.

Well, I was able to take a bunch of pics of the sawrig so I can get on to making my own. I have some ideas to go on.

My last pictures I mentioned the old Allis tractors and how these machines were used into the '80s by my nieghbors for real dairy farming. I spotted a nice looking example.

My dog was kinda upset I was gone all day. He got attacked when my wife took him for a walk. A new nieghbor was out walking her dog (Brit Spaniel,) it was running loose and decided to jump into the ring with my baby. The Bear let her Spaniel go after it went submissive.

This has happened several times with three different dogs running loose and jumping mine while he is leashed.

I told my wife she really has to stop meeting the nieghbors one dog fight at a time. Actually I wish these folks would understand that country living is not a loose dog anymore.

I spotted something that I could hardly believe. A riding sickle bar mower. What was the builder thinking?

I didn't buy anything exciting, but did come home with around a 100 cedar posts. No gym membership needed when posts need to be peeled.

The stack in the back is firewood and the pile needs to be stacked now that the snow has melted. Always something going on.

Boone,
Those old AC's were great workhorses. I grew up with a WD and an RC. My grandpa had a WC with steel rear wheels that he used in the woods - as a professional logger. He skidded more cordwood with that thing than I can imagine. We used ours to put up hay and skid firewood.

Dad still has the RC and I plan to get it from him one of these days to restore.
