I was sitting here trying to figure out what four ways were!! And what that meant on a tractor! Haha

For our old Yannies, 2-ways are just fine. The newer machines have 4-ways and 6-ways. A lot more BLING and BLINK too. :cool2:

Not sure where you get 2-way, a fender mounted fixture that can be seen from the front and the rear is a 4-way flashing light even if only 2 bulbs are involved.
Of course adding more lighting and brighter lighting allows you to see better and to be seen better, both play important parts in safety.
Also with the age of most of our machines, and the low amperage output of the dynos, the lower requirements of amperage for LEDs and the greater output are a win/win/win. With a bit of creativity, all of our old style bulbs and fixtures can be reworked to use LEDs that are now available.
If you can do some light duty electric work, you could do dual function LEDs for our blinkers, and add a circuit to the second element function (like a 3157) and have a blinker system and a flasher system.

FYI, I just did this on my YM2210BD and the switch did not have screw terminals, it has a 3 terminal plug-on connector instead. I made a short jumper harness from flat male and female spade terminals and some heat shrink to install between the switch and connector instead.

Nice. Mine's the 3-prong as well. I've yet to do this mod. Just tooooo cold out this time of year. Going back a few postings, a few said that placing another switch on that jumper wire you had installed would give BOTH turn signals when needed and then 4-ways when needed.

That would be correct. If the jumper had a switch in it you could turn that switch on so that the jumper was connected and if connected they would both come on. If that one was off it would function as normal.
