A few years ago I had a Case/IH/Ingersoll that I used as a partial trade on a Honda Foreman 400 quad.
The Ingersoll is a neat tractor with it's vickers hydraulic drive, heavy steel channel frame, bar tread tires and neat orange paint. Mine had a Kohler electric start single and a 3 blade mid mount deck. The PTO was via belt from a snap clutch (similar to an air conditioning automotive clutch pack) but with mechanical over-center activation instead of electro magnetic. Mounted in front of the snap clutch was an aluminum oil cooler with a big plastic fan driven from the end of the crankshaft that went through the snap clutch. If I remember correctly, it had three ranges (geared) with hydraulic final drive. The hydraulic oil lubricated the gear case as well as provided oil for the pump so the seat got warm as the oil heated up. Neat tractor, should have kept it, but it was needing a new pump so I got rid of it.
I've seen pictures of them with Cat 0 hitches though I don't believe they could pull much, maybe a tiny single bottom plow or a little disc.
It was very well built though, heavy guage metal and diamond plate and real welded box section frame. Nothing like you buy today. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif
I guess I really was attracted to it because the Case orange reminded me of my Kubota and I like Kohler one lungers. They sound soooo sweet when they idle. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif
