Recently I've noticed several tractor and ATV ads on CL for my area daily that are scams. All asking 'too good to be true' prices for excellent items. Most have gmail accounts. Most have summer pictures of items or some pictures look like they are from other countries based on the buildings in the background. One common thing they all share is they all have a single picture, which is rare for big items.

I'm noticing the same thing too. The thing I can't figure out is why they are all coming to my email from an alert I have setup for chainsaws. Lots of ads for vehicles and tractors for too good to be true prices. The ones I looked at don't even have misspellings. Some of them even have the oddball prices like $2307 but most are something like $2000 or $2500.

On yestedays Craigslist in my area there were about 8 scams. All posted about the same time. Either tractors or side by sides priced 10 times less then there actual value. I still remember the car that was advertised in Peroia Illinois that had palm trees in the pics. I'm sure if I e-mailed them and asked why they would have an explanation.

She already sold it to me, and has advised that it is already enroute to Anchorage!

That is so common... CL uses that as one of it's 'examples of a scam'.
