Afternoon Scott.You're right about the green grass,as usual everything takes longer than planned.Watching them set the trusses today in the 40 mph wind was spooky.They can have that,I like dirt.

They tell me if the weather holds out that they will be done by Tuesday.

Mudcat thanks.I'll post some more Monday,the builders had to take a break and go home for some rest.They live 3 hrs away from me.

What did they put down under the metal roof? It looks like smooth plastic. How does it work?

Thanks Eddie.The insulation is called Tempshield.Here's a link Double bubble white foil insulation
It reduces condensation from the metal roof.

The shed project looks like it is going great bones. I see you have your roof trusses braced. There was a lot of discussion on that in another thread earlier.

How big is that? I am trying to figure how to build my barn now. I am trying to figure out how to build trusses and the span. I have some Mopars along with my tractor and I want a good span without poles to hit.

Trusses are 6/12 pitch 30 foot span.2x8 top chord,2x4 the rest.

Almost finished! Still have shutters and garage door to install.The wind chill was -4f the day they finished.
I'm taking suggestions on the best way to level the floor for concrete and what material to use for the base. Bank run,sand or just gravel.I suppose I have to add more wood around the bottom something to contain the fill.Thanks for looking.
