I am sure many of you have seen the posts I have made expressing my displeasure with people allowing their children or grandchildren in the bucket of a tractor, I think many people feel that i am against children ever being around a tractor, I AM NOT! My 17 yoa son operates my L4200 the same way I operated an 8N Ford from age 12, I have also let my daughter who is 6 sit on my L4200 and have rode her down the driveway with me holding on to her.
My whole point in my post was that if a kid falls out of the bucket of a moving tractor they will most likely be run over, this is simple logic!
Maybe I am a little **** retentive with safety but I have unfortunatly seen the results of not using good safety practices in my job, I have seen children and adults that have been killed due to disregarding safety and sometimes common sense.
Which leads me to one simple question, Do you think it is a SAFE practice to let children ride in the bucket of a tractor?
