If everyone had to serve, they might have a different attitude. I have to say I was/am opposed to the war, mainly because I think it's not going to further the war on terrorism and in fact is going to put our troops into the hornet's nest of terrorism in the middle east and stir more trouble in the future. HOWEVER, now that the bullets are flying, I am keeping my mouth shut. Our president has made a decision, right or wrong, and right now the troops need our support. I have friends over there and I know da** well they want to know they are risking their lives for something their country supports. It's ironic isn't it, how many of the peace protests turn violent.
