A Sure Sign of Spring

It's gotta be getting nice out now! I finally broke down and took the snowblower off the little Craftsman tractor and put the mower deck on. Here's my 790 lifting the snowblower to its new summer home. It is now all bundled up in a tarp at our property patiently waiting for next winters snow to fall on our new house /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif

I was going to do the same thing with my blower. It will be getting a lot less use at the new place with the tractor, and my Powerwagon doing the plowing duties. But I will be going from about 30ft of drive to about 300ft of drive./w3tcompact/icons/frown.gif

I'm with you. I took the snowblower off my tractor a couple of weeks ago but yesterday I took the cab off for the summer. I put the ROPS on today so now I'm ready for summer.

If you look at the picture very closely you can see a pulley hanging on a chain from the tree branch. What you can't see is that there is a cable from the wich on the ATV to the pulley and down to the cab which is what is holding the cab in mid air.

I thought about that as I was removing it. All is well, I've secretly kept a single snowshovel in the garage to keep the snow-demons at bay. Besides, I've always got the FEL on my "real" tractor /w3tcompact/icons/smile.gif

I'm not so brave. The last thing I do at the end of the day is put the plow back on and back into the garage. I'll switch in July /w3tcompact/icons/laugh.gif
