The parts truck finally got delivered today...a 1988 F800 with a bad engine (7.8L Brazilian diesel), but lots of good parts.

No idea what's wrong with the engine. They just said it was "bad" with no other description. The bed, lift cylinder, pump and PTO from my truck came from this truck, so it must have been bad enough that it wasn't worth the effort to fix. Still, it seems pretty solid to me as well...frame isn't rusty, the suspension parts all look good, and even the cab and doors aren't too bad (a little rust in the corners). I need a few things off it, and then I might look into selling it to a local place the specializes in medium duty truck parts....maybe it can pay for most of the overhauled transmission I had to buy for the other truck

Yes, good deal. I have bought two one tons from two different companies. I cannot believe that any company would sell a machine that is seen by the public and leave their name on it.
