Don't want to sound arrogant here, as I am not, but English is pretty much a universal and global language now. True, sticking just to English does leave some potential members out, but includes the most of any language that could be adopted.

Would have to agree with the compter translators that are used. They just don't end up with a good conversion. Have some experience with the Russian/English/Russian, and it ends up a third language unintellible by either.

Both my wife and I only speak English, yet we continue to do Internet business with people that are located all over the world who don't speak a word of English themselves. We have found a site called world lingo or www.worldlingo.com to be a very easy to use free translating service.

I think that in paint as in all things true black is the absorbtion of all light enery and therefor colors and white is the reflection of all (or as much as possible) light energy. We see what is reflected. So my kubota is realy any color except what it appears. Hmm... I hope I have that correct.

How do you know that the color you perceive and call Kubota orange, is not the color that I call Ford blue? Maybe I just call orange blue and you call blue orange, or maybe the other way around?

(OK, so this ignores the scientific definition of light colors as defined wavelengths of electromagnetic radiation, but hey.....)

Well, if that is true, and we all discuss and have different colors, then the tractors would be black or white when the full spectrum is identified. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Pineridge,
That translator's pretty cool. I tried it on a few phrases. Here are the results.

Phrase: "Hold my beer and watch this!"
Translator: "I'm once again about to prove Darwin was right"

Phrase: "I'm going to invest more into my retirement plan"
Translator: "I'm going to buy two lottery tickets this week."

I thought it worked pretty well. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Yea it would be nice to have an automatic translation. That way, I could go ahead and talk Texan instead of trying to speak English, and yall would be able to understand me. /forums/images/graemlins/grin.gif
