Since you are both familiar with the Amish I thought you might find this Yahoo News Article interesting.

Seems a large Amish sect in Ohio is getting involved in Politics to fight zoning rules. I hope they win. It is considered unpecedented. They quote a professor from E-town College as well.

It's just a matter of time till the land between Lancaster and Harrisburg gets gobbled up by developers. Good thing I wasn't born later than I was. I won't be around to witness it...............chim

It is amazing how quickly the county is developing. /forums/images/graemlins/frown.gif There is still quite a lot of beautiful farmland. I try to get out and enjoy the beauty especially during the growing season when it is so grean and beautiful.
